Meet Joe.
15 Month Old, Black Male Labrador

Joe is a true Dickendall Labrador. Ready to go when you are, and just as happy to settle at your feet when the day is done.
He is a 15-month-old black Labrador Retriever male with that classic Dickendall temperament. Kind, steady, confident, and genuinely people-oriented. He is a sweet and athletic boy who loves to retrieve, swim, and play, and loves to learn which makes training a pleasure. He has the natural ability and drive to excel as a sport dog in obedience, agility, or hunt tests -- but he would equally love life as a cherished family dog, right in the middle of everything, exactly where he belongs.
He has been around both little kids and older kids and loves everyone. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and settles in easily wherever he goes. Joe would fit seamlessly into the life of an any family that wants their dog woven into daily life. He will keep up with your kids, join you on every adventure, and then come inside, follow you from room to room, and curl up at your feet at the end of the day. While he easily settles and loves to cuddle up for lots of pets, he is not a total couch potato, but I'm sure it wouldn't take much convincing for him to join you on the couch. Joe would do best in almost any home as long as they are willing to give him normal exercise and work his brain a bit (trick training, walks, and ball playing count). He'd also love a place where he'd be able to swim as he does enjoy it.
Joe began his training with Texas K-9 Academy and has since completed additional advanced training with our trainer here. He walks beautifully on a leash, knows sit, down, stay, recall, place, and heel, is crate trained, and rides quietly in the car. He is calm and settled in the home and loves nothing more than to be close to his people.
He is microchipped and current on vaccines and veterinary care. Joe will be placed on AKC limited registration, non-breeding. Please note that his training is not included in his purchase price and is invoiced separately, paid directly to the trainer. Full details are available upon inquiry.
If Joe sounds like the dog your family has been looking for, we would love to hear from you.

Meet Haggis!

1½-year-old male Border Terrier – a FRED grandson
Haggis is looking for a new home. He was returned due to owner's life changes, through no-one's fault. We always have a home for our dogs that are born here. He was exceptionally raised, I honestly couldn’t have done it better myself. Haggis is active, fun, and ready for an adventurous home. He learns fast, loves to play, and would make a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys getting out and doing things with their dog, or someone looking for a sport dog.
A little about Haggis:
• Expert ball retriever
• Rides great in the car
• Good in a crate
• Walks nicely on leash
• Has a solid off-lead recall (we’ve been using a long line just to be safe in new places)
• Knows most basic commands (except “down”)
• Gets along well with other dogs
• Happy, energetic, and playful — will play with you or independently throw his ball for himself to entertain for hours.
• He's not a barker and plays quietly
• Up to date on all vet care as of October 2025 and good until October 2028
Haggis is a son of our dog, CH Dickendall Defender "Tucker", and a Grandson of the Famous FRED.
He get along well with other dogs, loves to play, and is very friendly with everyone.

Meet Phoebe.
Do you want a little sidekick? Phoebe is about a year and a half old, grizzle (brown) border terrier female. She's been raised in the home, is crate trained and playful. She loves to sit on your lap and be an active adventurous dog.
Phoebe is Spayed and ready for her new adventure. She will be fully groomed before going to her new home and obedience training with our trainer is available if you choose.
She would likely not do well in a home with indoor cats, but otherwise is super friendly and loves other dogs.
Photos and more info available upon request.

Special Needs Dogs?
Occasionally, we have amazing "special needs" pups who are looking for loving homes. These dogs are happy, well-adjusted and cared-for, and have the typical Dickendall Temerament, but may have some challenges whether due to congenital defects or other factors beyond their control. If you think you may provide a great home for one of these good dogs, we are happy to chat with you and keep you on our list.
We do not usually list litters (upcoming, available, or planned).
